Michelle Naimo Bird is a curatorial assistant in the Department of European Paintings at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC.

A lover of the arts, she is also a member of the Screen Actors Guild. The National Gallery granted her a leave of absence from July 2004 to July 2006 to join her husband in Havana, Cuba.
